Acceptance. Sort out which problems you can solve, and which are beyond your control. Work on accepting the things you can't change.

Realistic Expectations. If you find your self angry at the same situations habitually, it may be time to look at your expectations. Example: A co-worker who is always late with his work is unlikely to change. Can you learn from the experience and plan around him? You can save a lot of stress and conflict by being realistic.

 

Positive Attitude. Negative self-talk tends to come true--or at least make life a lot harder. Be positive and encourage others! It can be contagious.

 

Recognize Choices. We tend to think that we have to live with things "as they are". But we do not! Do you have a choice? Could you speak up. or change things, say no, or ask someone else to do it?

Exercise is probably the most simplest and most popular stress-reliever. Aerobic exercise for 30 minutes most days of the week does amazing things for your mood, heart, and waistline!

These days most of us average only 6-7 hours of sleep. Mood, memory, and your ability to pay attention and make good decisions take a plunge as sleep deficits grow. So make yourself get to bed at a reasonable hour!

No matter how busy you are, you need to have some pleasure in your life, or it will begin to lose meaning. Schedule some fun!
