At SOTA, a good education takes place in the classroom AND the community.
Business & Community members also benefit from the opportunity to mentor and enjoy the energy and creativity of our youth. Your partnership can involve several strategies like mentoring, company tours, job shadows, internships, and scholarships. Logon to let us know that you are ready to take The NEXT Move.
Families are an important element in supporting the activities of the community. Volunteering to provide time, expertise and resources is a valuable contribution to the educational process and serves as powerful role modeling of community service to all of our students. Logon here to make The NEXT Move.
Alumni are tremendous resources to inspire and support current students. No one understands the power of a rigorous, interdisciplinary, urban arts education like you do! You are still an important part of our community. Activate your membership by serving as a guest speaker, mentor, intern host, or scholarship donor. What will it be? Make The NEXT Move!
Students learn foundational life skills and develop their own individual pathway into the future based on their unique strengths and interests. A critical element and tremendous resource in developing those plans is available in our local community, thanks to the support of our local businesses and organizations. Students are encouraged to take the next steps in learning about and trying out their interests by making The NEXT Move, where they can connect with people and organizations in their field of interest, and access opportunities to try out their interests, make valuable contacts, and gain experience. Job shadowing, internships, career coaches and more! Students, what is The NEXT Move for you?
