Page Content Photography at SOTA begins with the Visual Arts foundational sequence that includes Photo Design and Basic Drawing prior to advanced work. The photography sequence starts with design and digital skills (Photo 1), moves to the camera as an image-making tool (Photo 2), emphasizes themes in Photography 3, and advances to lighting and portfolio work (Photo 4). The goal of the photography program is to help each student find and communicate personal vision through the lens of a camera utilizing the moment, dynamic light, and integrated design. |
