Stafford is already a unique school site. We have created a goal to provide arts-infused instruction in many content areas. The result of these goals is evident around the school. Fused-glass projects adorn the entry windows and library. These were created in conjunction with the Community in Schools program and the Pierce County Arts Commission artist in residence. Student work is celebrated in the halls and classrooms. The art room and computer lab are both used fully to support student learning.

Families tell us they feel welcome and a part of our learning community. We think Helen B. Stafford would be proud.
