Crescent Heights Elementary School—

Home of the Huskies!

Crescent Heights is projected to receive 490 students in the 2010-11 school year. Our students, wearing their uniforms, will greet their teachers and classmates in their beautiful building. We will have four free all-day kindergarten classes this year.

Our goal is to help all students succeed. Diversity in learning styles is recognized and nourished through a wide variety of instructional strategies and an expanded array of assessment tools. Expectations are high and recognition is consistent. We know that effective student effort produces success.

Our strategy for success is based on a unified curriculum that is tied to the state Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs). We will team closely at grade levels to ensure consistency and richness in programs. We will widen and enrich instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students. We will assess student performance carefully and in a variety of ways to know our students’ strengths and weaknesses and plan our lessons to meet those needs. We will partner with our parents in an effort to provide an environment of success for all.
