The Stewart faculty, staff, parents, community volunteers and businesses join in partnership to provide the kind of support that our students need to reach their academic potential. We gladly welcome parents and others in our community, and the larger Tacoma area, to take part in the education of Stewart Middle School students. We join in a collaborative effort with the community.

We are also proud of our partnership with Tacoma Sunrise Rotary and its sponsorship of our 100% Club, which honors outstanding achievement by Stewart students. The Sunrise Rotary also funded a remodel to create an auxiliary library for Stewart students. Communication with the community is also a very important component of student success, which is why monthly newsletters are sent home to each of Stewart’s families, and we have begun coffee nights with the principal and math and literacy nights so families can familiarize themselves with our academic programs.
