Mason Digital Tools Teamsite

Digital tools help us to communicate and understand data. This site contains links and ideas to help the Mason learning community become master tool users.

A good place to start is to have answers to-“How do I...in  Microsoft Office.”

All videos are from Atomic Learning. Ask any staff member for your username and password. Have the app open you want to work with in one window, and the video in another window. Remember you can pause, or rewind at any time.

PC Maintenance and Security

Description from Atomic learning site. Tutorial series by Mark Repp "It's a well-known fact that PC's are wonderful tools. They can be fun, educational, a way to communicate, and much more. But in order to keep them running properly and to protect the valuable data we store on them, we need to follow some simple precautions. This workshop takes an in-depth look at some cost-effective ways to keep your internet-connected PC running smoothly!"

Be sure to visit the Microsoft Office support site. This is one of the resources available from the Microsoft Office support site.

"Wondering where your favorite Word 2003 commands are located in the new Word 2007 interface? Or just want to explore the rich, new design with a little guidance? You're in the right place. We've developed a visual, interactive reference guide to help you quickly learn where things are.

When you click the link, the interactive guide will start. Once you're there, rest the mouse pointer over a Word 2003 menu or button to learn its new location in Word 2007. To see an animation of the location of the command or button in Word 2007, just click it."
