Welcome to Manitou Park Elementary School. The staff at Manitou Park invites you to become an active member of our school community! We are committed to bringing a quality education to each boy and girl who enters our doors. We have programs to meet the needs of all ages, from kindergarten through fifth grade. A capable and professional instructor teaches in each classroom. Our teachers collaborate together to provide a standards-based instruction for all our students.
It is our emphasis to ensure each of our fifth graders leaves our school able to read fluently with comprehension, write clearly and apply math and science skills. The students learn using a combination of basic skills, thinking and problem solving skills, technology and learning how to work together as they prepare for middle school. Our students realize that their elementary education sets the foundation for being successful in middle and high
school.
It is critical that our students have the essential citizenship and academic skills to be successful members of our society. That is why Manitou Park is an official Safe and Civil School that practices the CHAMPs
