Stadium to present "Working" March 12 to 14

The musical “Working,” based on Studs Terkel's book, will be presented at Stadium High School (SHS) on March 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. and March 14 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. This show was previously produced at SHS in 1999 and 2003, and it is hoped that many alumni from these other productions will attend.

“Working” is a musical "documentary," telling the story of 25 people at work through monologues, songs and dances. “It has a special meaning this time around, since Studs Terkel, the famous Chicago journalist, passed away last year. And, in this time, work and our attitude towards it is even more important and precious,” said Suzy Willhoft, theater teacher and director. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students/seniors/military, and will be available at the door.
