Stadium NJROTC cadets selected for leadeship seminars

Three Stadium High School Navy Junior ROTC (NJROTC) cadets were selected for national leadership seminars, sponsored by the U.S. Navy.

Taylor Adamson will be attending the Summer Leadership Seminar at the University of San Diego, Calif., in July. Martin Stewart and Arijanna Zimmer (alternate) will be attending the Aerospace and Technology Leadership Seminar at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Fla., in June.

The three cadets are juniors who were among 500 cadets selected from NJROTC units around the country. These cadets demonstrated leadership within their unit and excel in math and science. The purpose of the leadership seminars is to place the cadets in a college environment with a college type of curriculum to spur their interest in continuing their education following high school and possibly pursuing a future in the Navy.
