Nationally known speaker, trainer and author, Donna Beegle will give a free presentation entitled “Helping Your Children Succeed in School” for families on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Mt. Tahoma High School auditorium. The Tacoma Public Schools Title I office and the School, Family and Community Partnership program are sponsoring the event.
Beegle will share insights and strategies with parents and families on how to work effectively with their child’s teachers and schools. Parents will learn:
· Successful techniques to communicate with their child’s school
· How to advocate for their child
· How to help their child succeed in school
