The second annual Jazz Extravaganza PB n J (Pearl Street’s Best Jazz) featuring jazz bands from Hunt, Jason Lee, Mason, Meeker and Truman middle schools and Stadium and Wilson high schools will be held on Feb. 6 at Truman Middle School, 5801 N. 35th St.
Come join this fun-filled evening of entertainment and fundraising. Last year, hundreds of people attended this event. The money raised from the dinner and admission supports the jazz music programs at the participating schools.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner catered by Joeseppi’s. The first jazz band performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. During intermission, a dessert auction will be held with desserts donated by many local businesses and families. Joe Stortini will be the event auctioneer again this year.
Jazz band students have dinner tickets to sell for this event. Presale dinner tickets are $14 each, and this includes admission. If you choose to join the fun without buying dinner, admission is $6 per person.
