Foss High School will host its first all-day Imagine U event on Monday, March 15, sponsored by the Foss counseling department in collaboration with Washington State University (WSU) and Tacoma Community College (TCC). Imagine U is designed to help students focus on careers and colleges. Career counselor Juanita Cantrell-Jeffreys said, “We are bringing the outside world to our students."
The event will begin with a school assembly, and then 25 Foss teachers will host 25 WSU professors in their classroom in the morning. During the afternoon, there will be three breakout sessions, including WSU student panels.
