The Board of Directors of Tacoma School District No. 10 will meet in regular session on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Tacoma City Council Chambers on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St. in Tacoma, Washington.
By relocating to the City Council Chambers, the meeting can be televised live on Click channel 25 and Comcast channel 26 throughout Tacoma.
Please note: Public comment is not taken during the monthly board study sessions, and the Tacoma City Council chambers seats only 150.
During this study session, the school board will review the public testimony and questions asked during a series of community budget meetings over the last two weeks and the January 27th board meeting at Foss High School.
In addition, the board has asked for additional information from the district on a wide range of budget issues. All the budget documents provided to the board during the meeting will be available for you on the district's Web site: www.tacomaschools.org. Just click on the big blue banner that reads "District Budget Outlook."
Also on that special Web page, you will find a place to email questions to the school board during the meeting.
