A workshop, “Keys to Successful Family and Community Involvement,” for administrators, teachers, parents and community partners will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 7:45 p.m. in the Lincoln High School cafeteria, 701 S. 37th St. Dinner will be served from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
Through the workshop participants will:
- Learn ways to involve families in their child’s education
- Examine and discuss “Promising Partnership Practices” from across the country that link to student academic success
- Discuss the planning, implementation and evaluation of partnership programs
- Plan next steps for increasing family and community involvement at their school
Continuing education credits provided for teachers. Child care provided.
