The public may attend one or both citizens’ budget information sessions May 24 and May 25 to hear Chief Financial Officer Ron Hack give a presentation on the 2011-2012 fiscal year budget for Tacoma Public Schools. The district will conduct the budget sessions on:· May 24 at 5 p.m. in the Stadium High School auditorium
· May 25 at 7 p.m. in the Wilson High School cafeteria
Interpreters will help translate the budget information into five major languages: Cambodian, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
Following the presentation, members of the public will have an opportunity to speak on the budget in person or fill out comment cards. The comments will be shared with the superintendent and school board.
