As your K-2 Instructional Technology Facilitator, I will assist you to integrate the elementary curricular programs with the technology tools and equipment in our schools. I work with students and teachers in classroom and lab settings in addition to professional development opportunities for staff to improve their technology skills. A large focus of my work this school year relates to the new student and teacher laptops as well as the state and national technology standards.

Andy Coons, Special Projects Facilitator
Technology infused teaching can be a powerful instructional strategy and meaning-making activity for our students. My primary responsibility of overseeing curriculum development for Instructional Technology supports this belief. In addition, I work with new pilot programs to ensure that they promote student learning and am the technology resource for our district's National Board candidates.
