Career & Technical Education

We provide students the opportunity to take classes that introduce them to career pathways and prepare them for higher education and employment.

Career and Technical Education programs offer a variety of classes/opportunities/choices including Professional Photography, Family and Consumer Science, Marketing, Welding-Machining and Sheet Metal, Aquaculture, and Woods Technology and Construction Trades.

Our high school students have the opportunity to study in the fields of business and marketing, health and human services, engineering and technology, science and natural resources and arts and communication.  Students learn skills in a context-based environment, and in many instances, earn college credit.

CTE Classes

Leadership development is a crucial part of providing opportunities to build an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce. CTE leadership development programs seek to build strong leaders. Although each program/club has its own specific focus, CTE recognizes that principles learned in one program are also applicable in other areas, such as family, community, business, and industry.
