Back-to-School Events

The Tacoma School District is partnering with World Vision to present the 2012 Summer Back to School Events. This is a free event where students can receive school supplies and other services to prepare them for the coming school year. This summer's Back to School Events will be held in three separate locations:

The Eastside Event (flyer)
Event Date: August 18, 2012
Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Tacoma Christian Center

The Southside Event (flyer)
Event Date: August 11, 2012
Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Giaudrone Middle School
4902 S. Alaska St.
The Central Event (flyer)
Event Date: August 25, 2012
Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location Life Center
1717 South Union

Please pre-register. Parents and students must check in to the location that serves your school. Click on your student’s school to find your location and pre-register.
 
Directions:
  1. Make sure you are registering for the appropriate location.
  2. Click on your student’s school to locate your event.
  3. Read the flyer for your event. Many other services will be provided at your event location.
  4. Fill out pre-registration for your event. Click print for your copy. Click SUBMIT to send to Event Coordinator. Bring your copy to the correct location on the day of your event.
  5. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
