Through the use of a standards-based program, Tacoma Public Schools will provide an articulated, spiraling curriculum that encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and use of technology. This includes creating a foundation for understanding of the natural world, nurturing curiosity, and developing scientific attitudes with application to future work, life, and world community. As a result students will integrate science into their life-long learning.
