Mann Elementary has been the center of this South end neighborhood for several generations. Named for Horace Mann, who promoted the concept of "public" schools so all children could learn, Mann has many second-generation families enrolled. Mann staff, parents, students and community are working in a partnership to provide all students the opportunity to learn.
